Toward Tomorrow – a series of educational sessions for
families with
young children. The following one to two-hour
sessions are offered by FINofOhio consultants at no cost
to families. Professionals are also welcome to
attend.
- Seasons Of The Heart – families reaffirm
the emotions they experience when they learn their child has special
needs
- Dollar$ And $en$e – learn about possible
financial resources for your family (you may be surprised!) and how to
get organized BEFORE you apply
- Your IFSP: Positive Planning –
families learn how to be actively involved in their own Individualized
Family Service Plan and make it work for them
- Cooking Up a Successful Transition –
families learn about planning, timelines and options that apply when
children turn three and leave the Help Me Grow system
- Putting the Pieces Together – families
learn about the role they can play in improving services in their
community
- Exploring Uncharted Galaxies – families
learn effective advocacy skills to assist them in being an equal member
of their child’s team
- Knowing Your Rights is NOT a Game! -
families learn more about their rights as consumers of services
- Visioning: Eyes Open to New
Possibilities - families learn the importance of developing a
desirable vision for their child and family
